TypeThursday este o întâlnire lunară dedicată pasionaților de literă. Ne place să credem că suntem o super-familie typo-grafică și vom atrage iubitorii de litere din toate disciplinele grafice și cu diverse grade de expertiză. TypeThursday este un eveniment de socializare urmat de TypeCrit - discuție moderată pe proiecte ce au ca temă interes creația sau utilizarea de literă.
Ce înseamnă Type Crit?
Pe scurt, este o sesiune prietenoasă de feedback pe tema literelor. Nu se dau note :)
Pe îndelete, TypeCrit este discuție moderată pe baza a trei proiecte în lucru ce au ca temă interes creația sau utilizarea de literă. Participanții pot asculta, primi sau oferi feedback. După terminarea sesiunii de feedback, participanții sunt invitați să mai rămână o oră pentru socializare într-o atmosferă relaxată.

20:40 - Socializare, poți intra în discuții de detaliu cu oamenii de la care ai primit feedback

After a long journey across Europe, studying at UNARTE in Bucharest, followed by @einabcn in Barcelona, working with @bymonotype in London, collaborating with Acute Studio (@dianaovezea ), and now straight outta her studio in East Amsterdam comes our next amazing #TypeCrit @sabinakipara I don't know about you but we are super-stoked about her talk on Iwoca, a three weights typeface commissioned and designed for a corporate identity put together by @stupendous.studio in London. Andrei Nicolescu
Time for the reveal, lovely peeps. Our first #typecrit for the next #typethursday is the mastermind behind the awesome visuals that we post right on this very page. Without further ado, we give you the man, the legend, Andrei is a 28 years old architect by day and illustrator by night, basically fulltime creative. His works are minimalistic, geometric, infused with vibrant colors, and often filled with quirky humor. In his typecrit session, he will talk about the editorial illustration he did for Stir Magazine - Seven steps for framing new economy. Radu Manelici
Bring on your scuba suit this week at #typethursday cause we're gonna dive deep into a sea of awesomeness with @radumanelici. Our next #TypeCrit, Radu teaches at the Bucharest National University of Arts at the Design Department, since 2009 and has a keen interest in the processes behind the visual language. His work generally exhibits his appeal for systems and grids which he uses to build designs and organize content. Radu's projects vary from product design to editorial, and type design. This Thursday, he will take us through the depths of Syntax, a gigantic pool of line-glyphs from which we can extract multiple visually inextricably linked dialects or languages and 1/3 of his Ph.D. thesis—Poliamori. A Mathematical Recipe for Newness is leaving the abstract fields of academic research and becoming a font through OpenType features elementary magic
