Good things come in twos, or threes, or something. Today's object of unparalleled beauty that arrived in the mail is Graphics Without Computer - 40 Years of Modest Achievements, a stunning 160pp book of posters, labels, covers, stamps and other printed ephemera from communist-era Romania, demonstrated here by my special assistant. The book is a labour of love and a truly wonderful artifact. You can get your own from here, but hurry, they only printed up 700 copies.[...]

The charmingly titled ‘Graphics Without Computer – 40 Years of Modest Achievements’ covers communist-era Romanian graphic design.
