Labour safety posters, 1968
Carina Ghiță collection
Valuing the importance of risk prevention visual propaganda and the necessity of distribution of the best work in the field, the Labour Ministry edited this Catalogue, a continuation of the Album published in 1966. The catalogue consists of the best labour safety posters, flyers, panels executed by ministries and other central institutions for the last two years. The main purpose of this catalogue is to make knowledge accessible and, at the same time, mass reediting the materials that have proven their practical efficiency for their generalization in other interested sectors, different from the issuing central institution. Orders regarding reediting will be insured through edition survey that will be distributed through ministries and other central institutions to all interested units. Considering that a centralized reediting is ensured of all the materials presented in the catalogue, sole reproduction it is not recommended, for it would be an unjustified waste of labour safety funds. - Foreword to the propaganda materials catalogue, the Ministry of Labour, 1968
A selection of the few representative labour safety posters can be found in graphicfront's first volume, Graphics without computer. 40 years of modest achievements
