The book was released at Cafe Verona, Cărturești, on November 26th 2011, and on May 11th 2012 won the prize for Best Romanian Illustrated Book of the year.

A selection of the multitude of handmade objects, crafted without
mechanized techniques of multiplication (with very few exceptions):
slogans, placards, informative or directing tablets. Here, as in the
first volume, past the compositional and/or chromatic qualities, some
objects have been stored in the archive for their innocence or humor –
as seen by today's detached man, especially today's young man.

Cele doua carti sunt G.E.N.I.A.L.E.
De cand eram mic imi place sa ma uit pe carti cu semne de circulatie... Dar ce ati facut in cartile acestea, depaseste orice semn de circulatie.
Imi plac foarte mult semnele de atentionare din fabrici (unele sunt sadice de-a dreprul, dar tot amuzante), reclamele si firmele (cred ca am enumerat aproape tot ce e in carte =)) ).
Un alt lucru care imi place este hartia albumelor imi place (si mirosul :P ).
Astept urmatoarea carte si sper sa fie cu si mai MULTE semne amuzante :)

Multumim Andrei. Ne bucuram si noi pentru ce e iesit, am facut-o cu mare entuziasm. Oricum, dincolo de bucuria facerii cartii in sine, documentarea ne-a dus in locuri nebanuite, uitate de lume, complet anacronice. Absolut fabuloase. Trecutul asta e chiar frecventabil:)Stai cu ochii pe site-ul asta. Vei mai afla lucruri. Despre hartie, mirosul ei, tipar si multe altele. Toate bune!

Ma bucur foarte mult ca exista aceste carti si acest site! Recomand cartile atat designerilor cat si oamenilor care nu lucreaza in domeniu, oricine ar trebui sa fie familiarizat cu ceea ce se intampla in tara in trecut pe plan vizual, macar pentru cultura generala. Iar designerii cu atat mai mult ar trebui sa cunoasca aceste lucruri, mai ales cei care sunt la inceput. Mie mi-au fost de un mare ajutor.
Felicitari si pentru site, in sfarsit incep sa apara initiative pe acest plan si in Romania! Plus ca e foarte refreshing sa mai citesti articole bune despre grafica in limba romana. Mult succes mai departe!

imi pare rau ca am aflat asa tarziu de aceste aparitii editoriale. Va felicit pentru aceasta idee si materializarea ei!! as fi incantat sa pot lua legatura cu initiatorii proiectului. astept un semn pe email. Va multumesc.
